US Patent 11,583,489 B2 (Byrd Tyler Miller, IV, James E. Sealey, II, Justin S. Pence, Taras Z. Andrukh, Zachary Korkowski, Ashley Harris); First Quality Tissue, LLC, Great Neck, NY, has patented a multi-ply flushable wet wipe that is devoid of fibers greater than 5 mm in length and that comprises less than 3% extractives as measured in accordance with the TAPPI T204 cm-07 test standard. The wet wipe is dispersible in accordance with the INDA FG502 test standard. The wipe has a first ply and a second ply, and each of the plies have two external layers. Both plies are laminated to one another.
